The Bottom Line: CLOROX Clean -Up is a multi-use cleaning and disinfecting spray that comes in a handy spray bottle. It works well and I highly recommend it.

While working for a group home that housed twelve adults and staffed ten employees, I had the "lovely" task of performing the weekly grocery shopping. I became quite familiar with a number of old faithful cleaning products as well as several new or improved items. CLOROX Clean-Up was one of the new cleaning products that was perfect for a multitude of tough cleaning jobs.
What I loved about bringing the CLOROX Clean-Up into that particular home, was how completely effective it was on removing germs, dirt, greasy messes and grime. It was so effortless and simple to use that the clients began insisting that I buy several bottles of it each week.
What Is It Good For
CLOROX Clean-Up found its way into the kitchen cleaning products pantry, into the three bathrooms and even in the laundry room. The clients and I found more uses for this unique tough stain remover and disinfectant that contains an old faithful ingredient, bleach.
In the past and still today, liquid Clorox bleach is used as a strong disinfectant against many germs and bacteria that easily invade our homes. CLOROX Clean-Up is a great and wonderful improvement. It comes in a handy and convenient sturdy 32 ounce white spray bottle and contains some cleaning agents and Clorox bleach.

We all know how nasty illness causing germs like e-coli and Salmonella bacteria can makes its way from the bathroom into the kitchen and into our foods causing serious digestive maladies.
The employees and clients used CLORXOX Clean-Up to effectively clean off door knobs in the bathroom, spraying this mighty cleaning agent on and simply wiping it off several times a day. With twelve people sharing three bathrooms, this process was not only a smart idea, it was also essential for maintaining a germ free environment or as close to it as possible.
Directions for Use
For cleaning and disinfecting, spray 4-6 inches from the surface until wet. Allow the powerful bleach to stand for 30 seconds and then wipe it clean. Spray directly onto a stain then wipe up or rinse it clean.
Uses in the kitchen:
countertops ~ cutting boards ~sinks and drains ~ faucet handles ~ stovetops ~ appliances ~ refrigerators ~ floors
In the kitchen, the clients assigned to the clean-up detail used this product several times a week to clean the sink counter tops and the sink, removing nearly 100% of the germs that harbored on these surfaces that are known to breed bacteria. CLOROX Clean-Up claims to effectively ...kill 99.9 percent of household germs and even destroys allergens from dust mites and pet dander..., as stated on the bottle label.
Many times, the staff would find spills of milk or other foods in the refrigerator. If left unchecked, the spilled milk would ferment, causing a very putrid odor. The germs that cause this odor were no match for the powerful bleach in CLOROX Clean-Up. Once a week, the clents and staff would work together to give the kitchen and floors a thorough cleaning with this inexpensive product.
Uses in the bathroom:

Every week the clients were responsible to thoroughly disinfect the bathrooms. CLOROX Clean-Up does a marvelous job on the sinks and faucets handles, as well as the tile floors where many bare feet trod. It's very tough on mildew stains, too. It worked beautifully at cleaning some ugly stains from the shower stalls, as well, leaving behind a brilliant shine
In the Laundry:
We had several clients who washed their white clothing and sneakers obsessively. They would use CLOROX Clean-Up as a pre-stain removing treatment on their white socks and underwear, as well as their canvas sneakers. I would not recommend using CLOROX Clean-Up on leather or canvas sneakers due to the drying effect of the bleach. One client learned this the hard way, when his sneakers suddenly started falling apart after several washes with CLOROX Clean-Up.
By using very hot water and some of this stain remover sprayed onto the white fabric, CLOROX Clean-Up becomes a very safe way to remove deep stains like coffee, chocolate ice cream, bicycle grease, baby oil and other cosmetics. The uses are almost limitless.
Heed the Warnings
As with all houshold cleaners, especially those containing potent CLOROX bleach, you must keep OUT OF the reach of CHILDREN. It is extremely harmful and even FATAL if swallowed.
Do NOT INDUCE VOMITING. Call the POISON CONTROL center and seek medical attention.
It is also important to work in a well-ventilated area due to the very strong, even over powering fumes from the bleach. This is perhaps my one con with using CLOROX Clean-Up. Since I also use this product in my own home, I can attest to the fact that it can cause serious throat irritation and difficulty breathing if the windows are not opened when using this product.
Avoid getting the spray into the eyes or onto the skin. One client had a serious burn from using this product while cleaning his sneakers (yep, same client).

Final Thoughts and Recommendations
My advice and recommendation is to buy and use CLOROX Clean-Up all around the home for cleaning and super disinfecting. It is very strong and highly effective at keeping germs at bay in the kitchen, in the bathroom and in the children's rooms, especially in the nursery.
I highly recommend this product as long as the warnings and cautions are heeded. For less than four dollars a bottle, it is an inexpensive way of staying healthy in a germ and bacteria ridden potential illness causing environment, our homes.
