Burning calories twice as fast? Well, sounds good to me...but how? The TreadClimber is a hybrid stair climber and treadmill. Hence the clever name. As is industry standard, Nautilus (maker of TreadClimber) claims you will see big results in a short amount of time by hardly doing any work. But Nautilus is smart enough not to say it'll only take 3 minutes a day. In fact, the claim is responsible and realistic; workout 3 times a week for 30 minutes and within a month you'll see results.
The website layout is comprehensive and easy to navigate. They offer "special" deals if you order online. For example, Nautilus is offering zero-down financing and low monthly payments. This hinges on whether or not you qualify for their TreadClimber Credit Card. Benefits of the credit card include: zero down financing, no annual fee, low monthly payments, secure application process, dedicated credit line for all your TreadClimber purchases.
There are three TreadClimber models:
TC1000 - This is the base model TreadClimber. You can adjust the speed to as high as 3.8 MPH. The small computer lets you track speed, time, and distance. Price: $1,499
TC3000 - You can crank the TC3000 up to 4.0 MPH and fine tune your workout with 12 intensity settings. The computer has 6 functions on the TC3000. Price: $1,799
TC5000 - Top of the line...the TC5000 lets you go 4.0 MPH. You get a rubber machine mat, 8 function computer, a better warranty, and other minor improvements. Price: $2,199
You can order a free video or DVD that demonstrates the TreadClimber for you if you're still not sure you want to order.
The website also features accessories and a weight loss program. Slenderful Advanced is Nautilus' weight loss supplement. Nautilus also has a 30-day fat loss program. They also have two books, one specifically for women and one for men. Then they offer a heart rate monitor and a machine mat, to protect your floor.
I spoke with their customer service department to see if they could offer any more information than what's on the website. They couldn't but they were friendly and helpful. A little too eager to try and sell me a machine though.
Nautilus
Nautilus is a respectable brand so you should feel comfortable ordering from them. They will stick to their return policy and satisfaction gaurantee.
Conclusion
Of course you have to have the standard "real-life" success stories. Some of the results are dramatic some you can hardly tell a difference. There's no doubt that you will get in better shape using the TreadClimber, or any other exercise machine. When it comes down to it, it's a matter of quality and price. The website is enjoyable to navigate. It's easy to use. I would recommend viewing the site though I'm not yet convinced you should purchase their products. I'm working on trying out the TreadClimbers, then I'll post reviews about them.
