Pros: Very good resolution & color
Good support & warranty
Nothing lacking.
Cons: Suction cup mounting would be nice for tabletops
The Bottom Line: Why go cheap, when at discount you can get something above average?

Excellent little webcam. At a web price (onvia.com) of $72 I could not imagine anything better. Very sharp for what it is and good color! Right after I registered it on the Kodak site, I found a new driver which included Win2000 compliance, plus additional enhancements across the board.
Read several professional reviews and found this camera always came out the sharpest, and color on top or a close second. Still about $30-40 less than a sale-priced 3Com HomeConnect. Plus no others have a focus adjustment, and few if any have a feature which allows not only still & motion, but also timed-sequence video captures.
For stills, you can either snap the pix with software, or use the button on top of the camera.
Tripod mounting (threaded metal insert, not plastic) nice stable base, with adapters for laptops.
Lots of software. Software is not always that intuitive, but does most of what anybody would need, besides this is not rocket science for the average PC user.
Unless I missed something, I don't think webcams get better for the price!
