Do you think you could earn $100 in a month?

The Bottom Line Earning money on Epinions isn't hard, but it helps to have some quick guide lines that work!

Although I've only made a few hundred dollars on Epinions, I'm here to tell you how to Earn and Redeem Eroyalties. (Usually known to red-blooded Americans as MONEY!)

So, you signed up on Epinions, you've earned about, what? 10 cents? And you can't figure out how some 20 year old girl has made several hundred dollars? I was once in your shoes. (Only now, I'm thinking, how can they make several thousand!?) Here's what I did.

At first, all I did was write reviews. I hardly ever visited other reviewers. I thought the money was in writing reviews. Well, in a way it is, but how are other people going to know you're out there, if you don't show your face, er... Epinions ID? So, in addition to writing reviews, don't forget to read and rate other people's reviews as well! Don't think you're interested in other people's reviews? Okay. What movie did you last see? What movie are you thinking of seeing? Curious about a new type of cat litter? Want to know if everyone thinks that brand of tooth paste smells? Well, it's all here on Epinions. There are people just like you writing these reviews. Visit other people and their reviews for every occasion. Do you think certain members are much better reviewers, and want to visit them more often? Add them to your Web of Trust. This also helps you circulate your name. Daily, I check my Web of Trust, and visit some of the people who have added me to theirs. I'm not saying I will add you to mine, for sure, but I do visit the people who value my writing enough to add me to their WOT.

As I've read in a few other reviews, another way to increase your Income Share is to have out-of-state hits. What do I mean by out-of-state? People who aren't with Epinions. Random people on the vast internet who some how got ahold of your URL. Add your Epinions URL to your email signature. Don't spam it to newsgroups, but whenever you talk to someone, just slip it into the conversation. The more people that come to the Epinions site because of YOU, the more new people Epinions gets to advertise to.

Put your Epinions ID into your URL. Instead of http://www.Epinions.com, make it "julie42.epinions.com" ... It works, and it sticks to the person who keeps clicking through the site. I'm not sure how much money you get for their page views, but I know you get something. I've made $35 just from putting my Epinions ID in where that WWW was!

Okay, so, now you've made some money, and you want to cash in! Under your account view, there are a few easy steps. You type in your name, mailing address, and voila, you get a check. It takes about three weeks. I've always gotten my checks on time. It's really that easy.

Summary!
Write reviews - of course. You can't earn money if there's nothing for people to see.
Read and rate other people's reviews - This will circulate your name, and get people to return to you!
Put your Epinions ID in the URL! - This helps get that extra bit of money.
Cash it in! - Get your check, and spend it however you want, it's your cold-hard cash!

Good luck with Epinions, and remember, those hundred dollar checks aren't as far off as you think!
