Pros: Good build quality and appearance.
Cons: Over-priced for the performance received.
The Bottom Line: I do not recommend it unless you have no choice and can pick it up for half-price.

| daleb's Full Review: Terk TV50 Outdoor/Indoor TV Antenna (authorized re... |
I think this antenna is sucky. Not even sure why I got it. I know I got it originally for picking up local stations before satellite had them available. Then I said, heck with it, now they have them for another 5 bucks a month, so put the TV50 away.
I see the fact it is so directional as a big disadvantage because it is specifically designed to stay in one place!!
I moved recently and the locals here are all picked up on Satellite except for Fox network. So am using the TV50 across the top of my TV. Fortunately, in that position it picks up the one channel I need just fine. If I had to turn it, it would likely poke someone's eye out.
I believe it is designed to work mounted on a wall or in an attic, assuming you are lucky enough not to have to move it.
It has a little more gain the the whip antenna called an FM-2 by Dyna Lab I used previously, but it is an antenna not designed for TV. The DynaLab is the sweetest FM antenna around. Puts all the other Terk indoor FM antennas I ever used, powered or not, to shame.
Needless to say this will be my last Terk antenna. Not impressed at all. But it looks like it was put together nicely.
