I will be the first to admit that I am full of accidents. I am just accident prone. I get a cup of kool-aid and I spill it a drop of it on my shirt. I go to scoop a French fry with some ketchup and I miss my mouth completely and everything ends up on my shirt. I have problems when it comes to dripping things on my clothing, mostly when I wear my white t-shirts. So Clorox decided that they had had enough of me, and designed a Clorox Bleach Pen with people like me in mind.
~~What is it?~~
The Clorox Bleach Pen was $2.50 on sale at my local grocery market. I have seen it at K-mart, Wal-mart and other brand named companies around the United States. The Clorox Bleach Pen comes in a simple package that markets the product and you can see it right there. There is 2.0 fl oz within the pen itself for use.
The Clorox Bleach Pen is for laundry and household use only. It is dual-tipped with one end about a centimeter in diameter for larger areas and the other end shaped like a pen. All you have to do is squeeze the pen a little for the liquid to come out. The liquid is contains surfactants and hypochlorite bleach so it is white. There is no phosphorus in the bleach form though.
~~How to Use It~~
The Bleach Pen is for whites only as it would bleach out your other colors.
For Laundry the directions are as follows:
1. Apply product to stain on the white Portion of the garment
2. Gently rub into stain with tip
3. Wash immediately with an all or mostly white load
For Household needs the directions are as follows:
1. Apply product to stain
2. For tough stains let stand 1-3 minutes
3. Rub. Wipe or rinse clean
It is that simple. No messy bleach everywhere, just a touch and go. Before each use it is wise to shake up the pen. You can choose which end fits the job with the dual-tipped action. There is a screw-on cap on both ends and it clicks into place when closed.
~~Bleach Pen Experience~~
So as soon as I got the Clorox Bleach Pen home, I went to my closet. I took out every white shirt I had with a stain on it and got to work. Just after 60 seconds the stains were being lifted away. I was in complete amazement. It worked on my old ketchup stains, my fiance’s red wine stains, my kool-aid stains, my pasta stains, etc. It worked on everything I used it on. It even worked on the mildew in the grout in my bathroom as promised on the labeling. I was extremely impressed with this pen. I couldn’t believe my eyes. Speaking of eyes there are cautions that come with this pen.
~~Cautions~~
If you have sensitive skin, it is suggested to wear gloves when using the Clorox Bleach Pen. You should avoid all contact with your eyes and should this occur anyways, you should flush with water for 15 minutes.
If your child should swallow any, it is suggested that you drink one cup of water, no vomiting, and then contact poison control or your physician.
The Clorox Bleach Pen is not to be mixed with other cleaning products as “hazardous gases” may be the result.

I have to say that I am quite pleased with the Clorox Bleach Pen. I wish it was invented when I was a kid and hearing how I couldn’t buy white clothes because of my stains and accidents. I forgive them for that and use it now and enjoy every minute of it. It works!
