I have found out that the best time to use the Crock-Pot is during the week-end when we want to go out to a movie or to the parks with the kids. We just set it by using the slow button. We know that our dinner is being cooked while we are having fun. Make sure you put enough water to the Pot since you are going to be away for a while. It's so easy to figure out.
