Does a good job printing on sheet paper. Does a good job on CD's, but they can smear. This printer does NOT use the water-resistant Durabrite ink. I recommend spraying a light coat of clear Krylon paint on the label side of the CD after the ink dries. It takes practice to master CD printing. You have to calibrate size & color intensity of the printing surface for different brands of CD's. Practice on blank CD's because you'll ruin a dozen or more before you get it figured out.
This thing does a TERRIBLE job on ENVELOPES. Constant jams and misalignment.
Epson inks for this printer are expensive. I refill with ink from MIS Associates (www.inksupply.com). They offer continuous feed ink (from bottles) for this printer and that is pretty economical. The standard MIS inks are not water-resistant, either.
I use no-name CD's that I buy on Ebay. They print better and record faster than the Memorex CD's that Epson sells. It's very hard to find printable CD's in stores.
