I became a member of Memolink.com a few years ago because I saw it advertised on another website. I forgot about the website for about a year and when I went back, all my points had disappeared! I wrote a letter to the customer service, and they gave me my points back. Well I kinda forgot again. At this point, I should have had about 2500 points, but they had disappeared again. I wrote another letter to the customer service and they refused to give my points back. I wrote another letter saying "Pleaaase pleaaase can I have my points? I will be a regular from now on." (lol) Well, they ended up giving me all my points back, and now I have about 3600 points. I am a lot more careful now about how often I visit, because they said this was my absolute last chance and I better visit at least once every 6 weeks.
~Point Earning Opportunities~
Some of the categories are: 1)Featured Points, 2)Bonus Points, 3)Shopping Points, 4)Member Points, 5)Quick Points, and 6)New Points. There is not very much of a difference in any of these categories. There are various ways to earn points all throughout the website. Here are a few examples of what you can do to earn points:
-Get a free 2 week trial of Netflix: 1050 points
-Shop at AllPosters.com: 25 points per dollar
-Join Desert Dollar Casino: 9600 points
I usually don't do anything that involves buying anything, so that's why I don't have very many points right now. Here are some of the things you can do without buying anything:
-Visit a Website: 1 or 2 points
-Take a Survey: 10-20 points
-Answer a Trivia question correctly: 5 points
-Visit the Site of the Day: 5 points
-Play the Lottery: 5 points for 2/7, 25 points for 3/7, etc.
The surveys are usually about what movies you are interested in or how often you shop online. I took one today about what kind of beer I drink (I don't drink so all of my answeres were "N/A"). They go by pretty fast, so if there is 10 surveys on the survey page, you can easily get 100-150 points.
I can usually find the answer to the trivia quesion on google.com. The question for today is:
What type of dog is on Red Dog beer?
SHEEP DOG
BULL DOG
POODLE
BOXER
I went to google and typed in "red dog beer" and found the answer by looking at one of the websites that came up.
I haven't found a link for "Memolink Lotto" other than one that comes up after you attempt to answer the trivia question. I have won 25 points in the lotto several times, and it doesn't take very long to do.
The easiest way for me to earn points is to visit web sites. They update this section pretty regularly (or as regularly as I visit), so every time I go, there is another 15 or 20 websites to click on and get points.
~Prizes~
They have some pretty good prizes on this website, but I am not completely sure if they actually send the prizes. I have read other reviews that say they do, so that's what I am hoping. Here are some examples of prizes you can earn:
-$100 cash: 19800 points
-$100 gift certificate to Wal-Mart: 15900 points (I can't figure out why cash is so much harder to earn than a Wal-Mart gift certificate...you can get everything at Wal-Mart!!)
-$50 gift certificate to Dillard's: 8300 points
-$50 gift certificate to Outback Steakhouse: 8750 points
-$25 gift certificate to Amazon.com: 4300 points
-$10 gift certificate to Applebee's: 1800 points
-A website where you can get something for nothing: priceless (haha just kidding) =)~
~Conclusion~
If you want to be able to earn a lot of points on Memolink.com, you probably need a credit card. I don't have one, so I can't do any of the "sign up for this magazine thing to get points" because they usually require a credit card. You also need to have a lot of time on your hands and probably high-speed internet=)
