Pros: Fast with nVidia drivers for DX7 and OpenGL
Cons: No TV out, No DX8 driver yet, Asus driver slightly dodgy
The Bottom Line: Fast card, but no TV output, and some driver problems.

| stevecook's Full Review: Asus AGP-7700 |
The Asus 7700 is a fast card, and easily beats my monitors 60Hz refresh rate on almost all games (even in 32bit colour at 1024/768 resolution).
The nVidia reference drivers seem to be more stable than the Asus driver (the Asus drivers were slightly unstable and caused occasional serious slowdowns under certain colour depth and resolutions). Howeverthe Asus driver I tried was slightly faster (when it worked).
The card doesnt have a TV output, although a few of the other geForce cards do. I'm starting to wish I had bought a card with a TV out instead.
Unfortunately, many of the advanced features of the card still arent used in many applications. We're still waiting for DirectX 8 drivers from nVidia - at the moment the driver doesnt seem to support any of the new DX8 extensions for vertex pipeline (for morphing etc.), texture pipeline and FSAA. This isnt a problem yet, though, since (as far as I am aware) there arent any DX8 games that use these features available yet.
