Audible.com has ripped me off for over $200 in books that I paid for. If you subscribe to audible be darn sure you download before your monthly renewal date otherwise you lose your montly download.
It's too bad that you didn't get the $200 worth of books that you paid for. In Audible's Frequently asked questions, they have indicated that if you forget to download your monthly credit that you can request to have it credited back once. I guess you must have let many of the credits lapse before you called them up to get it credited back.
Unfortunately, with everything, especially to do with getting credits, you have to keep track of it and making sure you use up the credits before it's due. This is very much like paying your bills on time, otherwise, you'd be paying through your nose in interest charges.
Too bad to hear about your experience.
