Twisted Tea and a Caffeine high (Reply to this comment)
by teameister
We love twisted tea, original, half and half, raspberry and peach (not really - peach is too syrupy). After years of drinking this stuff and wondering about its effect we finally got the caffeine count on this stuff. Original has 36 mg per bottle. I imagine the other flavors are similar. To put it in perspective, they are about the same as a coke or pepsi. We still drink them regularly but now understand that a sixpack of these is like drinking a 6 pack of pepsi as far as caffeine goes. The alcohol's depressant nature mellows the caffeine effect a bit but if you've felt the TT lift or had trouble snoozing after a few, now you can connect your cause and effect. Cheers

My Favorite "Find" in Bottled Beverages! (Reply to this comment)
by funvacation
The Twisted Tea I'm commenting about is brewed by Twisted Tea Brewing Company in Cincinnati, OH. and is by far, my favorite bottled beverage. It is not nearly as filling as beer and has virtually no carbonation, so if you put one in the freezer to chill it up and leave it in there a little too long, you can shake it and loosen the ice a bit and it is awesome! It is not too sweet but has a good slightly lemon flavor without having that citrus tang that parches your tongue after the second one. It's available here, in CO, but unfortunately, I couldn't find it when I was visiting in So.CA. I really wanted my friends out there to try it! My best friend and I have this belief, by experience, that most "good things" have a tendency to "go away". We sincerely hope Twisted Tea is not one of them!

More Flavors (Reply to this comment)
by dorough19
I love Twisted tea, but you guys need more flavors. The raspberry is great, keep it coming! But anyways....I love Snapple Ice Tea, and I was drinking the Peach flavored one and thought, "Hey Twisted Tea should make a "Twisted Peach Tea". Trust me, it would be soooo good! I'd look at other Snapple flavors for other ideas too. Well good luck. Hope I see something.

No more beer for me!!!!!!!!!!!! (Reply to this comment)
by roylynn
This drink is the whip! I was so sick of beer making me drunk, making me pee, making me dehydrated, making me ugly, etc, etc., I only drink this now. I find it refreshing with a taste i like. TT is not like those nasty coolers that taste like Koolaid with liquor in them. It sneaks up on you real slow.

Not everybody hates it! (Reply to this comment)

I LOVE Twisted Tea. I do not like beer and this is a nice change. I like lemon also, which helps. I think it does taste like tea, it tastes like bottled tea, and it's not overly carbonated like beer and wine coolers. I can only drink a couple of beers but I can drink 5 or more Twisted Teas. Whereas beer gives me a dry mouth and headache the next day, Twisted Tea does not. I pray they keep on making it!

Not a beer, not a nonalcoholic beer either: what gives? (Reply to this comment)
by MiDoyle
I fail to see the connection of this product to the Non-alcoholic beers category. You are seemingly getting desperate for hits. This is not a beer nor is it nonalcoholic. What it is is guano. And hopefully, the rock band the Bodeans will win their suit against the maker and we won't have to see this garbage in the store.
