The Bottom Line: If you have the money or manpower for repairing the machine, it might be a good value for very light color duty (ie mostly black printing).

I purchased this printer a few years ago because the output looked good, it had a duplexing option, and for the free black ink offer. In the beginning the printer worked perfectly. Color output was consistent and accurate.
The duplexing option is a bit slow, mostly because it ejects the page 90% and pulls it back in to print the other side. Not quite twice the time, but close.
The inability to laminate the output (unless you cold laminate it) could be an issue for some. The ink used is not scratch resistant like laser or inkjet, so long term storage may be a problem.
The first page comes out quite fast for a color "laser" (it's actually solid ink). The paper tray is adequate, but only fits about 250 sheets.
However, within a few months, problems started creeping in. The color output had a definite green tint. Then it would jam once in a while. Every great once in a while I would get an unrecoverable error that required a power off and cool down before it would work again. The jamming was fixed with a $300 replacement of rollers and belts.
Recently it started jamming again on every page until I followed a specific procedure to clear the printer. It also has frequent unrecoverable errors exactly like I had before. If that wasn't bad enough, rebooting the printer causes it to go into long cleaning sessions which waste ink and fill the maintenance tray. The current estimate to get my printer working like it did in the beginning? $900.
I would only recommend this printer if you have technical staff on hand for repairs, or have a budget to send this unit out for repair. This printer is high maintenance.
