When I shop at brick and morter stores, I tend to stay away from the large departments stores or the super stores like the Best Buys, and go to the "Mom and Pop" stores for true service. When I found www.thebestthings.com, I found that "Mom and Pop" service on the internet.
Sure, their selection is smaller than most, but I found that the products they offer are the products I already own or plan to buy. They offer "the best things" at more than reasonable prices, and they not only reply by e-mail, but a wonderful person - Jodie - actually called me to apologize when they found there would be a couple day delay in shipping my order while they awaited an order from Canon. And 4 days later I received my camera!
Being from NY, I know all about gray market goods being sold at rock-bottom prices. thebestthings.com addresses this right on their website, so I could order with the confidence that camera I purchased would be legally warranteed in the USA.
I can honestly say that if thebestthings.com has the merchandise you are looking for (they even ordered me an item from Canon that isn't on the site) you can't go wrong with either price or service.
