A short story, I ordered A Philips DVDR 1500 from Nowonsale. The unit did not work properly. I foolishly tried to work thru Philips to resolve the issue. Time consuming to say the least. The end result is I went past my thirty day purchase period with Nowonsale.
So I call them up and explain the situation. Instead of telling me tough luck your past the return period, the gal at the other end of the phone (Faghy I think her name was)said send it in we we will repair it at our expense.
So I send the unit in, and of course the problem I was having would not reproduce itself for the tech. So here I am expecting to get a defective unit back and be out $1100 dollars when Faghy calls me and says they gave me a credit.
Now thats customer service as it should be. They got to keep my money I was allowed to pick something else, a fair bargain I think.
