Great Cordless Phone System

We had a old Cordless Phone w/ a built in answering machine from the "49MHz age". We would get fuzzy reception in any room except room w/ the base station. Even IN that room, the signal would get fuzz sometimes. Moving more than 2 rooms away and getting a dial tone was almost impossible. We decided to get a new 2.4GHz range phone. Epinions.com lead us to this phone.
We wanted a cordless phone that we could use inside & outside. We wanted a speakerphone. We needed an answering machine.
This phone answered all of those needs and more. It has the ability to add up to 7 additional cordless handsets and the handsets can serve as a baby monitor.
After using the phone for over a month, we love it. Works everywhere inside the house and out. The built in speakerphone in the handset (the base has one also) makes it convenient to include others in the conversation while not at the base unit.
Yes, it takes about 15 hrs to charge the handset, but for us, that isn't a problem. Put it in the charger at night and by the time you get home from work the next day, it is ready to go again. The charge seems to last about a week before it needs recharging
This phone does everything we need it to do.
