Pros: Good stability, good expandibility, good price, good performance
Cons: Can be super-flaky when conditions arent just right
The Bottom Line: Good board. If you arent into the whole Abit thing, Asus has got some stability for you.

Let me start off by saying considering the platform, this is a great board. Its stable, fast, and reliable.
I had a power supply problem when I had this board hooked up. And it was very hard to diagnose. I have found the A7V does not like being fed power that is out of spec to any degree. It wasnt the boards fault, but compared to some of the other boards I have worked with, this was the least forgiving.
That aside, its a great investment. It doesnt have a worthless RAID controller on board if you arent going to use it. It loves USB. And it is a great performer. Its a great OEM board as you can have the chip settings set on the board via DIPs, and not worry about the user being too destructive in the BIOS.
I have only had Win2k on this board. It seems to only want to run for ten days before it starts messing up. But Ive noticed this on most Athlon motherboards. So it would really make the best server solutiuon, but stability under a week is unmatched.
This is the under-dog of Athlon boards. It has been overshadowed by the KT7. It deserves the recognition of a stable and fast board, as that is all it is. A great overclocker too.
