Hello everyone. I got this card with my Dell Dimension 8100 like 2-3 yrs ago. I'd never heard of the company. I thought it was a medium range audio card that Dell just threw in there. Since the market is/was controlled by Audigy I figured whatever. As I started to get more involved in upgrading and the components that made up my pc I noticed the quality of this audio card. My friend had SoundBlaster Live on Klipch 4.1 speakers, and though it sounded great, I always thought mine sounded a bit better. Mind you, it can be an ego thing. At the time I had Altec Lansing's ADA880 and the sound was a bit crispier. As I upgraded on speakers to Altec Lansing 640 4.1 I noticed a big dramatical improvement. I was taken back by both, the speakers and sound card combination. The cool thing about this card is the software/drivers that come with it. It is very simple. The extra input jack is great for anything you want to do. Whether it is to add a mic, or have digital output it is just great to have. It also contains an equalizer and some presets.
I actually have moved on from the Dell Dimension 8100 and I've kept the audio card. Funny enough, it sounds better than my MSi's Kt600 inboard audio. Great card, and you can find it cheap online or on eBay.
