Great for home Office

This monitor is perfect for home office. It has a built in TV tuner, and a separate input for television signals (like a regular cable ready tv). It allows you to work on your computer, while watching the news (or anything else) in a picture-in-picture format. In other words, I can surf through nfl.com, review stats, and watch the game at the same time. For my wife, she watches soap operas while she does her work on the computer. You can see why you don't want one of these in the office.
The resolution is not that good when you use the TV monitor feature alone (a setting that allows the TV picture to take up the whole screen). Other LCD screens of similar size do a better job. But that is not the primary function of this product, and it does an excellent job of acting as a computer monitor and P-I-P television.
The speakers are built into the lower portion of the monitor, so if the small speakers are good enough for you, you can avoid desk clutter with additional speakers. If you want high fidelity, then don't rely on the speakers that are built into the monitor. They are adequate, but not professional sound quality.
