[NOTICE THAT MOST OF THE RECENT REVIEWS HERE ARE BAD!!!]
I ordered an Olympus D-560Z digital camera from this dealer on December 8th, 2003 (Monday afternoon). By Wednesday evening I had received no confirmation of my order, so I called them to check when it would ship. After being on hold, the first person I talked to forwarded me to someone else (apparently there's only one person who can work on each order), but this person wasn't in and I had to leave a voice mail message for Max.
Max didn't return my call the next day (Thursday), so I called him around 5PM. I asked him if my order had shipped. He tried to sell me some accessories I didn't need, then he said "you're all set". I reminded him that I'd called to find out whether my camera had shipped. He said it hadn't, and he couldn't tell me when it would ship because he worked in the sales department, not the shipping department. He thought it would ship the next day, but he convinced me to upgrade to faster shipping ($36) anyway.
Friday I received an e-mail from someone in their billing department, insisting that I had to call my credit card company and add an alternate shipping address (to have it sent to my family's house in Michigan). I did that (lots of fun) and e-mail'ed back saying that I had.
Monday I get a call from Max, saying he doesn't see any alternate shipping address and won't proceed with my order. I said that if he couldn't ship today, then to cancel the order. "Done" he said, and hung up.
