I love, love, love candles. I love the way they look and I love the way they smell. As a teenager I always had a candle of some sort in my room. To this day I still keep plenty of candles around my house. Some of my absolute favorites are Glade Candles.
~*~How Much & Where~*~
Glade Candles can be found at almost any discount store, grocery store or drug store, varying in price. Our local Wal-Mart has had them at the great price of $1.88 for several months now. When they aren't available at that fantastic price they are usually around $2.97.
The new 3-in-1 Glade Candles are a bit more expensive, and are usually priced around $3.97. I have yet to see this version go on sale like the regular jar candles do!
~*~Okay, So We Know They're Candles...Anything Special About Them?~*~
These are definitely some of the best candles I have found. In fact, I have tried some of the more expensive candles on the market and still found Glade Candles to be better!
There are two different versions of Glade Candles available. The old favorite is the glass jar version. These have recently been given a "makeover" with pretty designs on the glass. The newest addition are the 3-in-1 (or 3 tier) candles. The 3 tier candles are not available in a glass jar. Instead you get a fat pillar candle with three layers of wonderful scents.
Around the holidays Glade always has limited edition scents. For instance, during the fall, the scent of Pumpkin Spice is available. Once the holiday season comes around, there are usually three new scents available. These scents include Glistening Snow, Gingerbread Spice and an evergreen scent (sorry, can't recall the exact name of it!) This year Glade introduced two new scents for their 3-in-1 candles as well. Those are Baking With Grandma and Holiday Memories.
Glade Candles come in a great variety of scents. There is pretty much a scent for everyone's taste!

Glade suggests trimming the wick 1/4" before the first use. As with all candles, make sure you are burning them on a flat, hard surface. Keep all flammable materials clear of the candle.
~*~I Love Them~*~
I guess you can already tell how much I like Glade Candles right? I have used these candles for years, and I have yet to tire of their fragrances. I have a few favorites that I purchase on a constant basis. In fact, each time I go shopping I pick up two or three! My absolute favorites are Apple Cinnamon, Mountain Berry, French Vanilla and Strawberries and Cream. My two favorites from the 3-in-1 line are Berry Picking and Holiday Memories. I constantly burn Apple Cinnamon and Holiday Memories these days! They are the perfect scents for the holidays.
Glade Candles are probably one of the strongest scented candles I have found so far. I can light just one and the scent will fill my large living room in a mere five minutes! The scents are warm, inviting and delicious. I always get compliments every time we have company and I have a Glade Candle lit. Not only are the fragrances wonderful, but they are very long lasting. One candle will last me an entire week, burning it several hours a day. I am always sure to keep the wick trimmed appropriately. I have these candles in my living room, dining room, kitchen and bathroom.
The 3-in-1 Glade Candles must be placed on a flat candle holder. There are three great smelling layers to burn through. For instance, my Holiday Memories has layers of Spiced Apple, White Cranberry and Holly Evergreen. These candles too are very long lasting. One of these candles naturally lasts longer than the smaller jar candles. I can burn these several hours a day and they will usually last two weeks, maybe a bit more.
Now, not all of the Glade Candles I have tried have been my absolute favorites. There are a few whose scents are not very strong at all. In fact, French Vanilla wasn't one of my favorites to begin with. The scent wasn't strong enough to fill a room. However, Glade recently caught onto that and revamped it. Now it has a great scent that will fill a room. There are also a couple of scents that smell a tad bit like strong perfume to me. Angel Whispers is one of those. I think it smells nice, but it isn't a scent I want filling my house! Same goes for the 3-in-1 scent of Evening At Home. It just has a very strong perfume scent.
The great thing about Glade Candles is that why their scents are strong enough to fill an entire room, the scents aren't overwhelming. Like I said earlier, they are very warm and very inviting.
~*~Final Recommendation~*~
I highly recommend Glade Candles. These candles have delicious long lasting scents that will fill an entire room. They are wonderfully priced and have a variety of scents to choose from!
