After struggling with dial-up for the past six years, after a phone call from Yahoo SBC services to try out their DSL services, I jumped at the chance.

I was offered a "free" modem, reg. cost of 99.00 to purchase. Free hookup (or whatever you want to call it); free phone jacks and a low cost of only 26.99 for DSL.

My dial-up was 22.99 and rarely could I get online, so yes, I took this deal.

Simple.

I received my package via mail within four days of signing up. I followed the simple directions on the CD to hook up my DSL. I was even able to take my tower apart and put the needed to-dah needed for the DSL. That same evening I tried my DSL and was connected right away...this was five days ahead of schedule. I called the office the next day, and they said don't worry about it and enjoy my service....so I did.

Along with the service I was able to choose other services for free. I had my pick of about six different deals (if my faded memory is correct) I picked the Yahoo games (leagues) and extra mailbox room. I been playing the games since I got the service and haven't had to use the extra mailbox features yet (but of course, Christmas photos haven't started coming in yet from family members)

The only time I ever needed to call the service center it was fast and I had great service. I wasn't sure how to enable my cookies via the new browser, and the lady I spoke with had my puter ready within a matter of minutes, plus she went through a few other things on my puter with me to make sure that I had the fastest service needed for my puter needs. I was delighted with the customer service I had and told them so. The next day I got a call from the main office to ask if I was happy with the service received the night before. I was surprised that they double made sure that I was pleased with my service.

I highly recommend Yahoo DSL to those that need a faster connection. If you are on the internet as much as I am, then the quick movement of pages is needed, the friendly folks at the office are a surprise (happily) and the ease of connection is fantastic.
