I love Webvan, even though it's not perfect

The Bottom Line Webvan is the best service on the web. The amount of time and trouble I save is well worth the slightly extra cost.

Webvan, is to me, what the potential of the internet is all about. It saves me time, it has interesting shopping features, and it gets me coming back for more.
Webvan delivers groceries to a number of metropolitan areas including San Francisco, CA where I'm located. Once you sign in, you pick a date to have your groceries delivered. They've expanded the times quite a bit, but the busiest times (5-8pm on weekdays for example) fill up fast.
Shopping on their site occurs in different ways. You can browse categories (like yahoo), use a search feature (like google) or use their "my market" feature. This section has everything that is on sale and everything you've ordered previously from them. It's a great feature if you tend to buy the same items over and over.
I've ordered everything from fresh fish to produce, from meat to cheese. Everything has come well-packaged, fresh and in the size I requested. I will say though, that a few produce items, although looking very good, didn't taste as good as I would have liked, but that could happen to me at a regular grocery store too.
Webvan has always delivered on time, except for once when they were 20 minutes late. The driver was so apologetic that he gave me about 20% off my entire order! How's that for customer service.
I always quickly unload my purchases to make sure they are all there before the driver leaves. This only takes a minute and I've never found them to short me.
Prices are a little higher, maybe 3-5% more than my local grocery store. To me, the convenience is well worth it.
All in all, I love Webvan and hope they continue to grow and become profitable.
