The price of Avis is competitive. Avis customer service is good. They are efficient and help me find the best solution. If you drive long distance (above 100 miles) I think Avis is a good deal.
Both Avis and Uhaul do not provide one-way truck in my area.
U-Hual Truck price is 19.99-29.99 but every mile 1.19-1.39 there are no free miles.
As for Avis Truck price is 109 but every mile is only 0.39 including 100 miles free.
As for my case, I will drive 150 miles. If I use U-haul, it costs about $250, while using Avis only costs $130.
The advantage of Avis for long-distance drive is obvious.
Then about the customer service. The customer sevice clerk is professional and polite. Although there is no truck that day, she told me according to her experience,the Cargo Van also could move my queen size bed. She is right. It not only saved me another $33, it also made it possible for me to move on time.
As for Avis.com, you could find your local Avis agent from Avis.com and then contact them for truck information. There is no Truck information in avis.com, but Avis do provide good truck rental service in some area offline. Get the online info and contact them offline.
Everything is just that simple and smooth.
