I would never shop Overstock again!

We ordered 3 Santa Fe End Tables and 1 Santa Fe Storage Coffee Table. We received the end tables in a timely manner and were extremely please, then we received one of the two boxes for the coffee table and nothing else.
I wrote an email, nothing. I made a call, the clueless kid who answered the phone sent an email to the warehouse, that's all he could do. I wrote a second email, and finally got a response. It isn't their fault that they sent only one of two boxes, they are out of stock and don't know if they are getting anymore, they can't back order, they can only give me a partial refund for the coffee table or allow me to return the coffee table for a full refund.
If I choose to wait and see if it comes back in stock I have to check for it on my own and call the 800 # and try to get just the second box shipped without having to pay for the whole item over again. They can do nothing to help me. Also, if I miss the 20 day return deadline I am stuck with half a coffee table and no refund. Imagine that!
When I expressed my frustration and anger with the situation, the warehouse representative told me that life isn't fair, this is not their fault, that I wasn't being productive and he was going to terminate the call. Needless to say I didn't give him the chance.
It really is too bad that their service sucks so badly because, what they shipped us we like.
General Comment: I really wish I had come to Epinions first because I would have never have ordered from a company that has the number of negative comments Overstock has about their customer service. Who needs a never ending nightmare with a company that takes no responsibility for their mistakes and feels that the customer is always wrong.
