Singaporean food is unique to the island. Foods are adapted to fit the many different cultures. There are so many choices!

I've been to Singapore twice now (and have a review of my first visit - should be updating it soon), and know how good the food is :)

Some of my favorite dishes are:

Satay ayam and Satay babi with peanut sauce, bak gua, mee rebus, Hainan chicken rice, and for dessert, bay hay chee (Butterflies) and You Tiao (fried fritters.)

I think I also must've had about a gallon or more of sugarcane juice this last visit - I love that stuff :)

Again, great review!

I think it's a requirement to visit at least one hawker center when you visit! :)

Thanks for reading!

If I ever have the opportunity to go to Singapore, I'll most definitely try to stop by one of the Hawker Centers there. Thank you for another great and stomach growling review!

Many of the restaurants and hawker centers or open late, and most of the hawkers are open all night. I don't know which one you are referring to! LoL

And I just did a review on Malay food... hope you take a look at it!

The Satay is absolutely fantastic isn't it.
There was one seafood place which I barely remember which is open at all hours, do you know the name of it ?...It is a wonderfully clean place...even though Lee Kuan Yew was thought to be dictatorial..there was virtually no crime.
You could walk safely at all hours of the evening.
Thanks for writing on Singapore...maybe someone should write on Malaysian cuisine.
