| placebo328's Full Review: HP Pavilion 6573Z |
I purchased my HP 6573Z PC in January 2000, October of that year my tower (CPU) blew a fuse. The next day I called the HP tech support and in a week I had shipped my tower to the HP repair center (shipped free of charge under my warranty) and by the next week my tower was returned better than ever. Just last week March 2001 my Monitor also blew a fuse, again I contacted HP and within a matter of two days after I made the call I received a brand new monitor free of charge under the warranty. The HP tech support staff was so responsive in handling my questions, concerns and the overall processing of my requests. This company has by far the best tech support staff that I have ever had to work with. The fuse short outs were entirely my own fault and by no fault of the HP product itself.
Also this PC is highly expandable, its interface allows for so many upgrades and advances, it is truly a computer that grows with the owners capabilities. My PC came with a DVD rom, Zip drive, firewall protection and an outstanding sound and video ability. This is such an excellent package for just under $1050. I highly recommend this PC for anyone that wants to store a high amount of data without having it affect the speed of their computer. I have over 50 full length CD's stored on my PC including 300+ random songs, and of course it can handle a lot more.
This PC is a great upgradable computer, I have added a CDRW, scanner, printer, and video card among many other software additions.
Also I'm sure that this is true for all companies but I found it so refreshing, if you purchase HP products (i.e. scanners, printers etc.) then the ease with which hardware/software installation is completed is remarkable it took seconds instead of the usual 10 minutes, and even completed installation without a required disk.
I highly recommend this PC to anyone that wants more than just a computer, I have used it for so much more than what is in its initial capabilities. It grows with the user and has a interface that has a great amount of potential for expansion.
