With money to spend and style in mind, I set off to explore the online world of clothes shopping... again. Previously, I've shopped the selections of Overstock.com, Hottopic.com, Footlocker.com, and Amazon.com for clothing, so I have a novice list to compare Bluefly's shop too. However, I can fully and confidently say that Bluefly.com has been one the of most satisfying shopping experiences I've had, online and offline.
Designer label clothing at up to and sometimes over 70% discounted prices? Too good to be true? It's all going to be defects like Overstock.com? Irregulars? No, not at Bluefly at least. Designer clothing by Andrew Marc, Anne Klein, Anna Sue, Diesel, Lucky, Ralph Lauren, Dolce and Gabbanna for prices you could die for.
Bluefly is an online outlet store with completely brand new, top quality items; not irregulars or B-stock/defective clothing. Stock is limited to whats available by size and color, and this coupled with a constantly (and instantly) updated stock makes for an interesting shopping experience. If you see a deal that you can't pass up, make sure it's in your size and add it to your cart, because chances are if you wait 5 minutes, it'll be gone.
It was in this way that I scored my Diesel cycle denim jacket for 69.99 and Lucky Brand trailblazer jeans for 39.99 bucks. Using a coupon for free shipping, I paid 109 bucks total and got my items in three days. Quick and easy, Bluefly delivered high quality items as promise.
The best part about shopping at Bluefly is the user-friendliness of the site. Clothes can be organized by designer/brand and/or type, new arrivals, clearance and sales, and the top 50/hot items. Furthermore, you can organize listings by price, popularity and best of all, SIZE. Shopping is a pain when you see an awesome pair of jeans you want, but realize it's 3 sizes bigger than you. This is a problem both online and offline, but Bluefly fixes this by allowing you to search by size. Ingenious! Bluefly's payment options, although limited only to credit cards, are quick and secure and changes were instantly posted to my account. Although there isn't any debit card support now (except for Visa Check Card), they are trying to implement that feature yet. Within hours, my order was shipped and I received my tracking number. How much easier could it get?
Now shopping online for clothes is not for everyone. But for people who know fashion and know their own fits, online shopping can be better than offline. Convenience is the key. I'll miss the pretty cashiers and girls that smile at me at the mall, but, I won't miss the long lines or hours spent walking. With that said, Bluefly is the epitomy of online shopping. Already offering great diversity in selection, more than competitive prices for the products offered, and a user-friendly site interface, Bluefly shows online consumers that they really are cared for. Furthermore, Bluefly is as organic as any brick and mortar store and is constantly growing to fit consumer needs. Good work.
