Excellent gifts and quick correction from customer service

When the Christmas season began to approach and I knew that I had little time to go out shopping, I decided to check out the Lillian Vernon Online Store. I have often ordered and received many gifts from the regular mail catalog, so the merchandise was reliable and of good quality.
In October, I sat down at the computer for about an hour and did most of my Christmas shopping with Lillian Vernon. I purchased several personalized items as well as other gifts for our families. The online catalog was easy to navigate and the items contained good pictures and descriptions. I found gifts for nephews, ages 2.5 and 7 years, and nieces, ages 2-9, as well as my mother. In the end, I spent $80 plus $13.98 for shipping and handling. The shipping cost is average for the online orders I have placed at other sites. The order was verified through my email and I was given several notices to update the package and shipping. Satisfaction is 100% guaranteed!
The package arrived within 2 weeks, which was pleasantly surprising since so many of the items were personalized. I had plenty of time before Christmas, so left the box in the closet after a brief glance to be sure all items were accounted for upon delivery.
Then just 12 days before Christmas as I was preparing to wrap all the gifts, I discovered the Personalized Gel Pens case was missing the gel pens. I called the 800 number on a Sunday afternoon. The customer representative was apologetic and promised to ship the missing pens immediately. Trust me when I say, I was very pleased to discover the package on my doorstep just 2 days later. Again I received several emails about the shipping status.
