I love my laser, but...

Pros: Too much fun for my own good, I love my Laser Ball!!!

I wonder about two things that may affect the accuracy of the speed readings.

First, the ball calculates speed based on a formula that relies on distance and times from release to catch. So, when throwing from a mound about how far back should the catcher sit to compensate for the "push-off" from the mound?

Second, although the Laser Ball is official size and weight, there is a digital display window that increases drag and adds to movement of pitches, so watch out!
