Great Ideas! I am helping out with an Easter egg hunt that is expecting around 1000 kids this year. Everyone brings candy to stuff the eggs with. I'm not big on giving candy to kids so I try and find cheap things like bouncy balls and stuff like that. Do you have any other suggestiong for really cheap things to fill the many many eggs with?

This year I did give him some candy, but I also filled most of the eggs with little party favors from the dollar store. I chose nice bright colorful slinkies.

You have some great ideas, too! My son loves animal crackers, so I will be trying that one also.

Just today I was trying to find some little Easter goodie for my girls and not wanting to do the candy thing. So I came home with nothing. They are 13 & 15, but I think I can still find age appropriate goodies that will fit. Thanks for saving the day! Wal-Mart here I come!! ~CO

My boys aren't into candy that much so I usually fill the large eggs with little toys or gift certificates for fast food places. Great review!

I'm the same way. I always fill the plastic eggs with stickers instead of candy. Havent heard any complaints yet though :o) Kids LOVE stickers
