I was able to successfully do all my Christmas shopping on-line last year. I've purchased a John Deere Gator for $299.99 from Sports Authority.com 4 weeks before x-mas. They said that it will be here within 8 days. We saw the item $60.00 cheaper at Walmart, so we call and canceled the order before delivery. I was told that it was scheduled for delivery and there was nothing they can do. I received a call from Yellow shipping to schedule a delivery and I was able to informed the lady that we no longer want the Gator so she sent it back. Meanwhile Sports authority charged my credit card for something I never sign nor took delivery. They got the Gator back and I was issued a credit. December 19th I received an email that the Gator was shipped to our house and that my credit card was charged. Back to square one. It's January 6, 2004 and I'm still waiting to get my credit for an unauthorized charge. Meanwhile I spoke with the shipping company and they said it was sent back. A regulation e-form was filed from my bank and a complaint with the better business bureau as well. Obviously the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing! The sad part about it is that someone failed to do their job and was allowed to get away with it. Do yourself a favor do not shop at the Sportsauthority.com - Michael
