We stayed in the Doubletree in Denver, CO last September and really had an enjoyable visit. We had gone to Colorado with the intentions of renting a car and looking at some property. The car rental company that told me via the internet that they accepted debit cards suddenly had some new rules and we were not able to rent a car. So we took the Doubletree shuttle. Needless to say we spent a lot of time in the hotel since we had no car. But we had a good time learning the bus schedules (we have no buses where we live). We also took an Amtrak day trip which was wonderful. Anyway, the Doubletree took very good care of us. I got sick while there and they had everything I needed in the gift shop. The restaurants were wonderful. We even ate at the very fancy Italian restaurant and were not in any way made to feel uncomfortable because we were not dressed like everyone else. And the cookies...........hence the title "Give Me More". The pool area and gym were very nice and clean. They had a baby grand in the foyer while we were there and every night people were gathered around it enjoying themselves. I really do recommend the Doubletree as a great place to stay.
