I got addicted to slot machines during my recent trip to Vegas. I miss the happy whirs and blings as they roll and click along. And I especially miss the happy ching-ching when you win points or cash out. Epinions saves the day for me again. I learned about the wonderful free world of SimSlots.com right here. Although only playing for about a week, my addiction is easily satisfied. I’m hooked!
What you get
SimSlots.com is a pretty basic site as far as web design goes. I actually think this enhances this site. We’re just there to play slots after all.
Free Slot play – There are regular and multi-line slots. You pay nothing. You don’t have to register to play.
Great Graphics – I’m not sure how to describe the graphics. But they look very realistic in a slot-machines kind of way. The sounds are great too. Makes game play much more fun. Go check them out for yourself.
No Downloading required – everything loads right in your browser. And it’s relatively fast in my 28.8K opinion
Sweepstakes Entries – Registration with valid email is required. But I haven’t noticed an increase in bulk mail yet. And you can opt out of their lists. Read on…
How it works
From the homepage, choose a slot game you’d like to play and click. My favorite is Fruit Smoothie. The game will load in your browser. We’re on 28.8K dial-up and this takes between 1-3 minutes depending on the game graphics. But once it’s loaded, game play is usually pretty quick and smooth – if I have multiple browsers open it will slow down.
So your game is now loaded. You will be given 50 credits to start with. Just start playing as you would any slot. Different games have different max bets, bonuses, etc just like real slots.
Once you win 100 or more credits you can “Cash Out”. This will bring up a pop-up asking you to login or register as a new user. A valid email address is required. Once you login, your credits – in multiples of 100 – will be added to your account. You can then choose to use these for the monthly sweepstakes entries. 100 credits equal 1 entry. You can enter up to 10 entries per day.
Complete rules including sweepstakes prize information are found on their Contest Rules page. This can currently be found at the bottom of the homepage. Current monthly prizes are “five prizes of $500, five prizes of $250, and five prizes of $100”. Check this frequently, as this has obviously changed from some of the other reviews here on SimSlots.
By the way, the Privacy Policy link is also on the homepage. Be sure to check this out. You can opt out of any lists they share with a simple email.
The Low-Down
SlimSlots.com is fun…and it’s free! Really, what more can you ask for? But they DO give more and that’s why I give SlimSlots.com 5 stars.
