Just say "NO" to XDrive.....treat yourself to a nice zip drive or CD writer instead!

I downloaded the app file for XDrive, but was never able to open the app because it contained a corrupt file. Afterward, I learned that XDrive does not work with Windows ME, but they don't bother to tell you that upfront! They make it sound like something wonderful and FREE, but I can tell you that it is definitely not FREE! After you have invested your precious time downloading and trying to install the file, then you find out that it won't work on Windows ME. I wouldn't be so disgusted with XDrive if they would just be upfront and tell you from the beginning that it doesn't work with your operating system. By the time that I figured out for myself that it doesn't work with ME, I had already given them personal information about myself which I cannot take back.. They have personal information about me that they can use or sell to someone else and I have nothing. Now I am getting emails from them which makes me even more angry! It cost me time, information, and disappointment and I got nothing in return but annoying emails from them. Thank goodness I gave them an email address on a server where I am able to block them from sending me any more of their useless messages. I am also annoyed with eMachines for including XDrive as part of their freebies. When you buy an eMachine with Windows ME, you get an offer for 100MB of free storage with XDrive. What is that? Hello?? When you add it all up, 100MB of nothing is still nothing!!!! Fortunately, I invested in a CD-RW, so I don't really need storage on a server. So, sometimes you get what you pay for and sometimes you still get ripped off on something that is advertised as "free." Whatever! I am not at all pleased with XDrive. I read some reviews on another site that indicated that XDrive made the computer unstable, but I have no way of know that since I never got to use the app. I will definitely tell my friends about XDrive....I will tell them to "just say no" to XDrive.
