hoodgurl's Full Review: Laurie Halse Anderson - Speak
This story starts out quite depressing! However, it does give people a good look into the possible life of their own high school out-cast. This story proves that you never know why people are the way they are. I'd suggest parents get this book for their teen girls who seem to talk about people who are different from them a lot. This book is in a way very educational, but readers need to beware:Not everyone gets justice in the end.
