WARNING THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM....GO ANYWHERE ELSE.......
after reading countless reviews on multiple msg board review sites such as Epinions etc, I thought they seemed to have good feedback track record from everyone else with only a few minor complaints here and there.
So I thought alright I'm visiting my folks for a few weeks in Hawaii so I'll go ahead and order myself a MiniDV camcorder (JVC-GRDV500 with a UV filter) and hopefully return home with some great footage......well I'm home now $500 poorer and still NO Camcorder
I placed the order online for the camcorder on WED morning Jan 7th and paid EXTRA for 2 day shipping.....then noticed their little blurb about 72 business hours to process the order on their webpage in the fine print....ok fine,
phoned their customer service department the next day THUR 8th Jan to confirm they had the order....the guy on the other end was polite and told me my order was ready and was scheduled to ship out THAT night Thur 8th...perfect
An hour later got the phone call from the sales rep trying to sell me extra accessories....told him 3 times NO but thanks for the offer....he hung up sounding upset or peed off I couldnt tell which....I didnt think much of it until Friday night rolled around and I still hadnt been emailed a tracking number for my order....so I emailed them asking for it
Monday 12th, finally received a short and abrupt email back saying "Your order will be shipped Monday, we have upgraded you to overnight delivery"......well WTF happend there i was told they had my order ready on Thursday?!? So I emailed them back saying "Thank you please email me my tracking number for my order"
So I waited around for fedex to show up all Tue 13th, and Wed 14th.....still nothing no tracking number no emails from "DigitalMEGAripoff" explaining the situation...phoned fedex to see if any packages had been shipped to my folks address that week NOTHING.......
In short looking at the VISA bill They charged me the FULL price on Thur 8th, never sent out my order (either (A) because they dont have it in stock (B) The #$%%@ sales rep that tried to pitch me the accessories tied up my order) and a 2 day express delivery has turned into over a week and i am no longer in Hawaii so if it ever does arrive there i have to pay even more money to ship it over into Canada where I live >=[ DONT BUY FROM THEM TRUST ME ITS NOT WORTH THE HASSLE
