I've had the car for about a month and I can't tell you how much I love it. I'm still in the break-in period and my fuel economy has not hit its peak yet, but I'm getting much better mileage than my Subaru Impreza.
The cabin layout is much better than the "classic" Prius, designed from the ground up instead of being adapted from the Echo. The controls are rather intuitive after you get used to the concept. The smart start/smart entry is a great feature and I urge you to splurge for a package that includes it if you do get this car.
The handling is good and the pickup is great, much better than my old car and "feels" much better than its rating. I haven't had the visibility issues that others have complained about, but I am accustomed to driving a hatchback. The view out of the split rear is actually better than most, since the lower portion of the window shows you what directly behind you on the ground.
The computer shows you your mileage in 5 minute increments and the screen is bold but not too intrusive. Controls on the steering wheel are well placed for the climate and stereo.
Cargo room is amazing and I must say that I've never seen a car this size with so much rear legroom. It's better than the Subaru, Saab and even my old Camry.
If you're considering a Camry or Accord, there's really no reason not to get a Prius.
