This great little device is easy to carry around and wear. It comes with a neck strap, pouch, and decent earphones. It has MP3 playing capability, file storage AND voice recording ability. And it's cross-platform compatible. Very nice!
A few drawbacks: I find it is prone to file corruption, especially if I use the voice recorder. On Mac OS X, I have to copy one set of files at a time (music especially) or files will overlap. In either case, the problem will worsen until a reformat is the only option. Therefore I have to regularly reformat the drive and start fresh, which isn't such a bad thing unless I have important voice recordings stored.
If one deletes the MDSetup file, it will cause the unit to freeze - this is a necessary file. I paid less for mine because it was on clearance; I believe the first owner deleted this file, but I was able to restore it to full functionality with a reformat.
