Actually, I have been shopping less and less at the online store. I have found other sites that seem to be more on the cutting edge of rebates and reduced prices, which is the only way I shop. However, I have not found the problem you mention with the weekly ad being mostly in store items. ON the bigger ticket items such as laptops and Home Theater that is sometimes true, but for computer components that are deeply discounted, this is not often the case.
I just bought a digital camera from Best Buy. It is a Samsung dual mode camera (both video and still pics). It was discounted well over $150 off of any price I could find on the internet, but only available in stores. I had my sister (who lives near a best buy) go to the store and pick it up. The manager she ended up talking to said the ad had to be a mistake as the price didn't even cover their cost, but still honored the ad as my sister had printed it.
Perhaps she is a blackballed consumer at that store now, eh?

Good review, and I wish you never get disappointed with Best Buy. I agree that you do get great deals there some times. But lately I've joined the many unhappy customers mostly because of theire seriously flawed customer support. I am surprised though you find the weekly ad most useful for your needs. I've found that often the best deals advertised there are only available in the store, and they do sell out very quickly. With you not having access to a real store I would imagine you would have a hard time taking advantage of many of those deals. I forgot to look at the date of your review too, but the days of the free shipping at Best Buy are gone too. Circuit City still offers free shipping for orders over $25, which I guess is fair, and their return policy is much more customer friendly.

Thanks for the kind words. I feel that too many people use the online services area as a gripe session for the customer service or even the bricks and mortar stores, and therefore thought I would try to add something extra. Thanks for reading and commenting!
