I have put several components into many computers this was just as easy!! i didn't fully follow the instructions because i was using onboard sound. I had the computer off and opened the case. I put the card into a pci slot and hooked up the speakers. When i turned on the computer i got into the cmos and disabled the onboard sound then let the computer boot. Windows saw the new card asked for drivers, I canceled that and started the installation disc and started to smile.....What a huge difference from the onboard sound!!! I had soundstorm which was very good, then I heard Audigy 2 WOW.......worth every penny!!!
