Don't Count on Them. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Very unpleasant experience. Quick summary of my three purchases from wine.com:
1. HAIER 36-BOTTLE WINE CELLAR. Great product. A pleasure to use. Highly recommended. I paid $649. Saw it at Best Buy the following week for $299. Wine.com said they "didn't have the buying power of bigger stores and couldn't negotiate a good price." Fine - my fault for not looking around. But are they doing their customers a service by offering this product at all? They were apologetic (I got a $12 bottle of wine for my hassle). However, I note that this and other cellars are still for sale at ludicrously marked-up prices.
2. DECANTER. Purchased as a gift for friends with whom my wife and I stayed. Took over 2 weeks to deliver - with a crack in it. Here we go again. Another 10-12 days for shipping.
3. 1988 COS D'ESTOURNEL. Spectacular Bordeaux ordered for same friend, above. Not in stock. Not available. I wasn't told until a week after my order, when I CALLED to check and they sheepishly said "oh - we didn't send you an email? It's not available." Fortunately, every other wine merchant has it, so I spent about 9 dollars less to have it hand-delivered next day from a store in NYC.
All in all, very unpleasant. I have yet to hear back from them regarding 2 and 3, above. I suspect I won't. I would have liked to cancel my order completely after then wine nonsense but, of course, no one has replied to my emails. I guess it's my fault - in each case, I could have done much better elsewhere. I just kept hoping for a good, trustworthy experience.
It never came. Recommend not shopping here. In my opinion, there are too many other good vendors looking to satisfy their customers. I don't think wine.com is at all interested.
