Pros: Great Infinity sound system, roomy interior, and it is great in the snow.
Cons: Weird back antenna thing, you have to remove the antenna by hand.
The Bottom Line: I would recommend this car the most because you get a sporty look w/ a lot of power, roomy interior, and a great sound system for a reasonable price.
I just bought a 2004 Dodge Stratus R/T, 5 speed manual V6, over the weekend. When I first set my eyes on it, I knew that I was going to get it. I love the sporty look of the vehicle and the fact that it is roomy as well. I used to own a 2001 Prelude, and while the vehicle may be sporty, there isn't much room in the cabin area at all, and it was horrible in the snow...it would even slide off the driveway with the emergency brake engaged if the driveway was snow packed. The 2004 Dodge Stratus R/T also has a great stereo w/ Infinity speakers. I live in Colorado and it snowed really bad last night and this morning the commute to work was very icy but the 2004 Dodge Stratus did excellent in the snow, it grips the roads very well. The one thing that does bother me about the car is that the one of the cup holders in the front between the passenger and driver's side seats is hidden in a compartment. You must open the compartment and leave it open if you want to place a second drink there. Another strange thing is the antenna on the back of the car. If you want to remove it, you have to unscrew it and I don't know why they just didn't put an electronic system in the car to raise and lower the antenna for you. Other than that it is a beautiful car. I have always been an Honda/Acura girl and I always have been more for foreign cars than American and I never thought that I would ever buy an American car in my life. But this American vehicle that I just bought really opened my eyes to American vehicles and I realized that there are many of them out there that are high quality. I am glad to say that I am a proud owner of a great American Car!
