Thanks for your comment! Las Colinas really is an strange little slice of Dallas life. I was pretty young when it was still a 'hopping' kind of place, but as for making a home there, well, at least it was quiet and safe. I, too, hope that it picks up the pace again. One thing is for sure, people have some kind of response when they visit---one way or the other! The canals are still pretty cool, and since I've left the area I really miss waking up to them everyday.
Hope you can visit again!

I stayed at this hotel about ten years ago followng a convention in Ft. Worth. I was awe-struck at Las Colinas - it didn't even seem real! I've never written a review on our stay there because it was so long ago it would be irrelevant. Sorry to hear it is not as vibrant as when we were there. Hope things pick up.
