The Bottom Line: It gives full 17inch, which is almost same size as crt 19in monitors. And the quality is great.

A Monitor that can be used as TV. Or vice versa.
When I first heard about this monitor, I had to get one.
Begged my dad. Well anyway I was finally able to get this great monitor.
Set up:
Its really easy. One bad thing is that Samsung design the monitor so that the power cords, or monitor lines won't stick out, which makes it kinda hard to clip them on. But after you put them, no more trouble. It takes so less space. When I had big o' 17inch monitor I had only room for keyboard, and nothing eles. But now I have so much space that now I can do multiple stuff at one time! WOOHOO~!
Design:
Monitor itself looks really cool. Its color is metallic silver, which gives futuristic look. The buttons which is located on the bottom of the screen is the one of the best functions. They are not push buttons, its one of those....hmm I should I put it...those like touch screen feel buttons. You just tap it and it works.~! Another great thing about buttons is that you can do all the things that the remote control can do. So if you lose the remote or forgot where you put it, hey its no problem~!
TV:
You can watch TV in both PIP (picture in picture), and Full Screen. Quality? Its like TV~!, I like it better than TV. Now I don't have to miss any shows like SIMPSONS~! I can do my computer work, and watch TV at same time. Sound? There is a speaker on the bottom of the monitor. The sound is excellent. I had to connect my speaker card for my computer on the monitor, because my benwin speaker died suddenly. And The sound was so great, I almost regreted ordering new set of speaker online before trying it out.
Use as Monitor:
Well I guess this is the most important part. I use 1280x1024 resolution. Everything is really clear. The fonts, for example, are crisp clear. For games? So far I had no problem with that! the colors are great, and you can adjust it easily. Since its not a knob that you turn, you cam adjust it precisly. Also the Monitor comes with Auto Setting, which automatically makes right setting. Which is great, because I don't have to adjust windows myself.
Radiation:
Well I have no idea about radiation. I heard that TFT monitors have much much lower radiation than regular crt monitors. One great thing is that my eyes don't get tired that fast. I am in front of the monitor like 10-12 hours per day. and my eyes almost never gets tired. Which is really great.

PIP for TV. You can move around anywhere of the screen~!!
