I don't get ads... I have the old 98 version still though. I saved it when I tried 2000 in case I didn't like it.

Use the Ignore Button
And you claim it slows down your computer? I don't seem to ever have that problem. It may be your 32 meg ram. that is pretty slow.
i have 128ram right now and am upgrading shortly to 1.2gig
