Actually, they belong to my son now. A friend of his moved recently and had to get rid of some of his things. My son received a huge box of clothing and amongst the jeans, shirts and jackets was a wonderful, almost new Adidas two piece 3 S Suit. I think the pants are great and my son loves everything about the suit, especially because it has the Adidas logo and those three signature stripes!
At over six feet tall, I had concerns about the fit of the polyester pants and jacket. My big boy has developed quite a physique, including large biceps and thick back muscles. After putting the lightweight zippered jacket on we knew that this was a perfect fit. What I like about his new suit are the two toned colors in dark blue and gray.
~Jacket~
The front of the jacket fit easily across his chest without being too snug, allowing for easy movement. It has a quality zipper that zips from the bottom all the way to the top of the ribbed collar. The color can easily get turned turned leaving the neck visible without the zipper getting in the way or pinching his throat. I have even worn his cool Adidas jacket over my sweatshirts on occasion. I love how the zipper slides so easily and has maintained its shape. After many washings, the zipper remains flat, no buckling whatsoever, as in some cheap knock-offs of a similar type.
My son has always had problems with sleeve length due to his long arms. The sleeves are extra long, with the ribbed cuffs coming over his wrists by an inch. The Adidas Men's 3S Suit offers both comfort and length in a really cool looking style. According to my son, the sleeves do not fit him tightly across his elbows, biceps or shoulders. This is great because the comfortable design allows him plenty of room to do stretches, exercises and most importantly, indoor and outdoor chores.
~Pants~
The pants are perhaps the best feature of this athletic suit as far as my son is concerned. He likes the pockets which are angled and deep enough for him to carry his wallet and keys. He has even been known to walk around the house with the portable telephone handset in his pocket! Yeah, that's deep.
Teens are funny when it comes to certain details of their clothing. Of course, as his mother I look for quality of the materials used, hem stitching and tight seams. I want to know that my son will be protected from the elements should he get caught in the rain or when the temperatures dip after dark. I am pleased with all of these important features of the Adidas Men's 3S Suit. The suit is made of 100% polyester and does repel rain to a certain degree. I also know that my son has gone outdoors with just the jacket on and no outer coat, in temperatures at thirty-two degrees or below. His standard answer when I ask him if he is warm enough is "..yeah, no doubt."
When it comes to design and style, the pants impressed my son because of the fit. He is comfortable because of the loose fit around his thighs and buttocks. The legs of the pants are wide and there are zippers on the sides that allow him to sport the open bottom look. As he often says, "I look so cool in this outfit."
The school girls voted and they all agreed!

These are really well made suits that are great for sports activities or just hanging out in. They do come in a wide number of sizes ranging from small to extra large. The jacket is versatile enough for my son to wear it with his other outfits including his baggy, wide legged jeans for an overall cool sporty look.
Final Thoughts and Recommendations
I love the look of the Adidas Men's 3S Suit and I am really happy that it was a gift to my son. The price is a bit expensive for my husband's pockets but if I had to purchase another one for my son I would.
As I explained to my husband, Adidas guarantees that their clothing is made with the best materials and quality workmanship. I have witnessed my teenager romp around with the dog, take dives off of his skateboard, jog for miles, shovel snow and fall off of his snowboard in his Adidas and the suit has held up remarkably.
