I bought a barebones notebook form here (FIC MB02). They asked me for Driver License before processing the order. Then shipping was slow (2 weeks from placing order). They had a low price and fair shipping charges but that was about all. I did my own research on this item from Anandtech and Tomshardware and FIC websites. When I recieved the notebook there were no instructions on assembly. I relied on on my own experience and research. The plastic connector to CPU fan broke while pulling with my fingers an obvious manufacturing defect. I sent the item back to Ewiz and they sent it to the manufacturer (Super Talent) instead of replacing it for me. They never informed me that they recieved the RMA. After 2 weeks I called and they told me I had 2 options pay $50 (for a CPU fan?)to fix or return and pay 15% restocking ($120). I begrudgingly paid. Took another 2 weeks to get it back. It still didn't work. They wanted me to send it back to the manufacturer (out of my pocket agian). I wanted to call Super Talent myself to figure it out but they wold give me the number. They also told me that I should NOT have bought a barebones if didn't know how to put together computers. What an insult!! Clearly I knew more than the CSR I was tallking to. He didn't even know the difference between PC2100 and PC2700 ram. I figured out that I bought PC2700 RAM and it was incompatible. I bought new PC2100 RAM and it fixed the problem. This place has horrible Customer service!!! Stay away if you are making a big purchase. Their policy is you bought it, we got your money already its not our problem anymore. I usually use Newegg which is awesome. Newegg never gives me problems returning defective problems. (I don't work for Newegg - Just a satisfied customer for many years). All in all I had to pay additionally $100 and 2 months to get this thing to work.
