The Bottom Line The Drafting Room has just enough selection that you can try most things and most everything is tasty.

I absolutely love a good brunch. What is better than lunch entrees intermingled with great breakfast dishes. I first went to The Drafting Room in Montgomery County the day before Christmas with my family for brunch this past year. It exceeded my culinary desires. There are 4 major stations at The Drafting Room. The first is an omelet station where everything is made to order. Not only do they make omelets, they also brought an eggs benedict florentine with lump crabmeat to one of my dinning partners. On this table is also a pasta bar where they have bowtie and ravioli with white, red or pink sauce. The pasta was done to my liking, al dente, and warmed through in my choice of pink sauce. There is also sliced meat; ham, turkey and beef. One last addition to this table are the homemade belgin waffles with fresh strawberries. My kids devoured these.

The second buffet is that of the chaffing dishes. Here there are spiced potatoes, sausage, bacon, challah french toast, incredible cheese blintzes with cherry sauce. (I'm sure I'm leaving out some key dishes.)

The third table is set with sushi and salads. There is quite a selection with salmon as the center of the table. The cesear and greek salads are tremendous with just the right touch of dressing and additions.

The last table is the dessert table. Of all of the spreads, this is the one I think needs a little help. I don't think the desserts are homemade. The cookies taste like they are from a box and the coffee cake was something along the lines of an Entemanns. If you are looking for something sweet, I suggest another cheese blintz or waffle.

The service was wonderful. The kids sat at the bar and the bartender served them "special" waters. They felt so grown up. There is also a game room behind the bar that let the kids have some down time from sitting. With so many small kids, this place is a great combination between dressing up for dinner and running in tubes at McDonalds. Since the kids don't have to sit the whole time, it occupies their need to get up. And since they get to pick and choose, it kept them busy.

Coffee and soft drinks are included, but anything else is extra. (Personally, I think juice should always be included for brunch.)

For the adult, the price is 14.95 and for kids 5 and over, it's 7.95.
