Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner-Not worth the hassle!

The Bottom Line: I recommend that you save your $7.99 and buy a product that you know already works, because this stuff won't help you at all.

When it comes to cleaning, I can get very meticulous about every square inch of my home. I am the type that wants everything to look perfect. When I bought Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner with some other Orange products, I was expecting positive results. I had read in other reviews how well it worked for them.
Unfortunately, I did not have the same results that others did. In fact, Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner did nothing for me on any of appliances, like my stove or microwave. I was deeply disturbed by this.
~The Packaging~
Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner comes in a 22 fl oz spray bottle. It states on the front of the bottle that it is made with "pure orange oil." With the "Natural Orange Cleaning Power" it is supposed to work as a "Tough Acting Degreaser" and "Multi-purpose Cleaner."
In order to use the trigger to spray you must turn the nozzle to the point that an arrow is directly facing you.
~The Promises~
"Orange Clean combines the natural cleaning power of pure orange oil with other strong cleaning agents. It is perfect for greasy, grimy messes in your kitchen and all around your home, while leaving a lasting fresh scent of oranges." (Taken from back of packaging)
~My Experience~
I read the back of the bottle that stated the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner worked best for:
Kitchen Appliances
Counters
Cabinets
Floors
Walls
Doors
Bathrooms
Ceramic Tile
Tubs
Sinks
Patio Furniture
Outdoor Grills
So let me cut this "ideal" cleaner step by step:
1) I used the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner on my stove,refrigerator and microwave. There was a lot of grease on the back knobs you use to turn the burners on and off. The greasy mess stayed that way even after scrubbing with the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner. The Refrigerator had a few marks here and there and the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner did not penetrate through them. My microwave was also not effected by this cleaner. It still had splatter stains inside of it.
2) The counters in my bathroom and in my kitchen space were not greasy and the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner seemed to work on them leaving the orange scent there.
3) My cabinets had a few spots of dirt and grime on them but the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner did not work on them even when I was trying my best to scrub it off.
4) I have linoleum on my bathroom floors and kitchen and the rest of my apartment is carpet wall to wall. My floors were completely dirty and needed a cleaning. I sprayed the floors and took the mop and started cleaning. The Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner did nothing for my floors, except leave an orange scent and made the floors more slippery.
5) Walls and Doors had similar experiences. I live in the desert and dust is around everywhere. My walls in my bedroom needed to be cleaned especially around the door knobs. The cleaning of my walls worked but not near the knobs. The doors were also cleaned but you could still see the grime around the door knobs.
6) My bathrooms in my house are two full master bathrooms. They are large in space and get dirty quickly. I used the Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner on my tub, tile and sink areas and it couldn't take the challenge.
Overall I had a nightmare of cleaning to do after I had just cleaned. I have used Clorox Clean Up in the past and had better luck using it to clean again. The Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner just wouldn't work for me and I am suprised that more people liked this product more than other products that actually work. I was frustrated and mad that I had spent money on something that mine as well have been water. The only positive aspect of it all was that my house smelled like oranges and that was about it.
~Directions~
Spray on soiled aea and wipe clean. Rinse if necessary, For baked on grease or thick soap film, wait several minutes.
Pretty easy to follow those directions, right? Well I did and it still was not able to get my home clean.
~Cautions~
Keep out of reach of children and in case of eye contact, flush with water.
I have to say that Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner did smell great and didn't burn my eyes or bother my skin when I took a whole day to use it everywhere.
There is a note on packaging to not use Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner in certain areas such as aluminum.
The cost of Orange Clean Tough Acting Degreaser Multi-Purpose Cleaner is $7.99 and not worth a penny of it unless you want an expensive deodorizer for your home. I was very unsatisfied with this cleaner and would not recommend it to anyone.
